    It's March, and the spring rain is falling gently outside.

    The air is filled with the fresh, earthy scent that only spring rains can bring, revitalizing the world around us.


    PATTERN RELEASE UPDATES

    The new design, Mulberry sweater, has been included in 52 Weeks of Sweaters from Laine publishing. This secret project has been a labor of love that I have been nurturing for the past year, and it has finally seen the light of day.



    This book showcases an array of sweaters that cater to various skill levels, techniques, designs, and personal styles, providing endless inspiration for knitters of all backgrounds.

    Mulberry sweater will be available for individual purchase on the official website and Ravelry https://www.ravelry.com/designers/yun-jeong starting July 20th, 2026.


    The Maple Pullover and Maple Beanie patterns are released!

    NEWS FOR LOCAL KNITTERS

    In other exciting news for knitters in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)!

    Knit City Toronto (https://www.knitsocial.ca/event-info-tor) will be held for three vibrant days, starting March 27th.

    If any of you are attending, hope we can meet and greet in person, share our experiences, and perhaps even exchange some knitting tips and tricks. It would be wonderful to connect with you all and celebrate our shared love for this beautiful craft.

      This is a long robe-style wrap vest knitted from the top down. 

      The design was created to capture the emotions of autumn.

      KNITTING CLUB IN-PERSON GATHERING

      The Local Knitters club is holding its September gathering

      on Wed morning, September 3, open to all who wish to join.


      Our aim is to create a close-knit community of knitting enthusiasts who also appreciate crafts, through these casual meet-ups.


      We will meet at a friendly and cute local bakery cafe.

      12 Centre St, Thornhill, ON L4J 1E9


      You may grab a warm morning coffee and maybe a fresh pastry,

      as you often do with your friends.

      Please bring your knitting project that you are currently working on

      and we will chat about this and that.

        DESIGN STORY

        The idea was to highlight the silhouette of the sweater using simple techniques.

        This seamless one-piece sweater is reversible, allowing it to be worn both ways.

        A dart has been included at the chest area to create a three-dimensional effect.

        It would be perfect for wearing during the changing season.
